Founded in 1982, the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) of Taichung Veterans General Hospital (VGHTC) has remained a comprehensive health care provider in mid-Taiwan. We offer quality medical care and rehabilitation for both inpatients and outpatients with various disabilities. Over the past twenty years, we have developed treatment programs in specialties such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, pediatrics, cardiac and pulmonary, musculoskeletal, chronic pain, and sports injury. We also provide consultation and diagnostic services with a variety of technologic examinations. With the participation of the patients and their family, our physicians and therapists work as a team to assist those living with disabilities to achieve functional independence and a better quality of life.
